Booster Club 2020-2021 Membership Information

 WHAT IS THE GACC BOOSTER CLUB? 

  • To put it simply, the Booster Club is the association that supports all things extracurricular, both financially and structurally!  Examples of items the Booster Club is in charge of funding financially include music, sporting event officials, speech and one-act judges, state tournament hotel rooms for sports and academic teams and cheerleaders, all things activity center...including maintenance, heating, lights, and insurance, sport and academic event programs, concession stands for all events, football field maintenance and rental, sports teams’ uniforms and equipment, speech awards and entry fees, bus travel and drivers, etc etc

 

 DOES THE BOOSTER CLUB APPLY TO MY FAMILY?

  • YES!!!  Although the majority of the Booster Club expenses are geared towards 7th - 12th grade programs, the Booster Club does apply to the younger grades as well.  Is your child in PE?  Yes!  The activity center/gyms and equipment are a critical part of that class.  Does your child go on field trips?  Yes!  Many times the buses are used for field trip transportation.  

 

 HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BE A BOOSTER CLUB MEMBER? 

  • For the 2020-2021 school year, it is $35/individual and $35/business

 

 HOW MUCH ARE SEASON PASSES FOR SPORTING EVENTS?

  • $75 / adult

  • $30 / student K-6 (under Kindergarten are free; 7-12 included in school fees)

  • Passes get you into all home games; you must be a Booster Club member to purchase a season pass

 

 HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE TO THE BOOSTER CLUB?

  • Very easy...pay your annual membership dues!!

  • Attend the meetings.  Everyone is welcome to attend!  Look for date/time/location in the bulletin or on the GACC facebook page  

  • Volunteer to help with fundraisers!!  The Booster Club puts on various fundraisers throughout the year.  These are critical to the financial success of the club.  Without volunteers, the fundraisers are impossible.  Many hands make light work!

  • Volunteer to work event admission gates, split the pot, judge or assist with academic events

  • Attend events...including home athletic events, the Membership dinner at the beginning of each school year, the $125 dinner around January, as well as the soup and pie supper and Catholic Schools Week breakfast around the January timeframe! 

 

  IS IT TOO LATE TO JOIN THE FOR THE 2020-2021 YEAR?
