Our Mission

GACC has a strong Catholic identity. Our students are committed to living out their faith in a tangible way through experiencing the sacraments, daily prayer, and service to others.

Our goal is to instill long-lasting values:

Community and Service: We challenge our students to work toward a common Catholic Good. Our school promotes a strong house program that encourages our students to work with their classmates to promote charity and will the good of others through service.

Integrity: Our students are taught the importance of respecting human dignity through our strong theology department. Students understand the importance of being made in God's image and likeness. Being Christlike means striving to treat ourselves and others with respect, while committing to daily improvement.

Fortitude: By challenging our students to be their best, we encourage them to gain strength. Our students are supported by our staff and each other as we encourage them to meet their full potential. When leaving GACC, the students feel well-prepared for life beyond high school.

Our school culture is built upon 3 pillars:

Faith: GACC puts our Faith first in order to live out our mission. "To prepare all students to reach their fullest potential by learning and leading through Christ." Placing Christ at the center of our lives, allows us to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Academics: GACC has a curriculum designed to build not only faith but also lays the foundation for success beyond high school. Our students leave well-prepared to attend 4-year colleges or to pursue careers in other fields. Our curriculum allows our students to meet the minimum high school course requirements at the state universities in Nebraska. GACC is a regionally accredited high school by Cognia.

Service: Our students are strongly dedicated to service. Our students fulfill this mission with opportunities to serve our parish, school, and community of West Point.

Mission
