This season, 49 GACC students went to Wisner on Wednesday to compete in the C1-3 Play Production districts. GACC placed 3rd overall with their One Act, “Wait Til the Sun Shines, Nellie” after competing against Ponca, Wakefield, Winnebago, Wisner-Pilger, Oakland-Craig, Logan View, and Tekamah-Herman. The senior class retreat was recently held at Camp Fontanelle in Nickerson, NE and the theme was: "Your Faith, Your Future." The retreat invited seniors to take a step back from their busy daily lives and assess: “What IS my faith? What IS my relationship with God? And what do I WANT it to be?” They heard that, like every other important area in their lives (college, career, personal relationships, etc.) . . .

The National Honor Society inducted new members recently. To be considered for NHS, students must have cumulative grade point average of at least 91.0% and eligible candidates are then evaluated on the basis of leadership, character, and service.
